Every tire has its size moulded into the rubber. Type yours in, or tap a part of the code to see what it means.
Width: 225 mm
The tire is 225 millimetres across, sidewall to sidewall.
That doesn't look like a size yet. It should look like 225/45R17, with the load and speed (94V) after it.

BookFair questions.
Grooves this shallow and cracked mean it's time.
Do I need an appointment?
Not for flats or a tread check. For new tires, booking means we have your size on the rack before you arrive.
How long does a set of four take?
About 45 minutes to mount and balance, 75 with an alignment. There's coffee and a bench by the window.
When should I replace my tires?
At 2/32 of an inch of tread, which is when the wear bars sit flush with the tread. Or at six years old, whatever the tread says. The four-digit date code on the sidewall tells you the week and year it was made.
Can you fix a nail in the tread?
Usually, yes. If it's in the tread and smaller than a quarter inch, we patch it from inside. A hole in the sidewall can't be repaired safely.
Why is my tire pressure light on?
Cold mornings drop pressure about 1 PSI for every 10 degrees. If it stays on after you top up, a sensor may be dead. We test them for free.
Do I have to replace all four?
Not always. Two at a time is fine on most front or rear drive cars. All-wheel drive usually needs four so the diameters match.
